The New Commissioners of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka had their inaugural Board Meeting on 6th July 2023 at the Head-Office of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka. The meeting was chaired by Justice L.T.B. Dehideniya, the newly appointed Chairman of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, and attended by other commissioners namely, Prof. Thaiyamuthu Thaanaraj, Prof. Fathima Farzana Haniffa, Mr. Nimal G. Punchchihewa, and Dr. Gehan Dinuk Gunatilleke. Following the Board Meeting, Chairman and Commissioners met with senior officials of the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka and discussed ongoing activities and future strategies.
