The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) sent a letter on 12 September 2023 to His Excellency President Ranil Wickremesinghe requesting a copy of the Bill titled ‘Anti-Terrorism’, which the Cabinet of Ministers had recently approved. The Commission stated that it understands that the said Bill is a revised version of the Bill previously gazetted on 17th March 2023.
