“Empowering Women in the Informal Sector: A Human Rights Agenda”

 The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka celebrated the International Women’s Day 2018 on 8th of March at the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS). The report, “Empowering Women in the Informal Sector: A Human Rights Agenda” was launched during the celebration to demarcate the event. Recommendations made by the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka for several Government Authorities were issued through this report to ensure the future  empowerment of women engaged in the informal employment sector.
