The Vavuniya Regional office covers Vavuniya, Mullaithivu and Mannar Districts. The entire land area of the Vavuniya district is 1967 km². 04 Divisional Secretariats and 102 Grama Niladhari divisions are included within the district. The Mullaithivu District land area is 2617 km². 05 divisional secretariats and 127 Grama Niladhari divisions are covered under this district. The Mannar District land area is 1996 km². 05 Divisional Secretariats and 153 Grama Niladhari divisions are included in this district.
