HRCSL writes to the Police, Commission expressing deep concern about the resurrection of the Prevention of Terrorism Act by the police

The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka informed on 22nd August 2022 the Inspector General of Police that the commission is deeply concerned about the resurrection of the Prevention of Terrorism Act by the police on suspects who do not fall within the definition of the Act.
